Our first WAH of the Month is Dawn.  Dawn came to us shortly after we opened the message board almost 2 years ago.  What a blessing she has been to everyone here.  She is always first in line to offer prayer, encouragement or a shoulder of support.  Her consistency on the board has grown into a deep foundation of trust; we know we can just count on her to be there.  She is greatly loved and appreciated for all she does.

My name is Dawn and I have been married to Scott for 12 years.  We have 4 biological children: Devon, Levi, Natalie and Claire, as well as one foster daughter, Jasmine.  I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area but now live on a 50+ acre farm in upstate New York.  My husband works 2nd shift so we are able to jointly homeschool our children during the day.

I came to WaH earlier in 2005.  It was a haven for me then and a home for me now.  I found WaH while doing some blog-hopping.  I was traveling by the Prattling Pastor's Wife (Leann) when I came upon an interesting link that said, "PRAY NAKED."   I was so intrigued I just had to check it out.  I praise God that I did.  He has used the women here to support and encourage me; to make me laugh; to cry with me; and to pray with me.
