Mission Statement

Our mission at Women At Home is to help establish women in God's Word.  Our vision for Women At Home is to see women walking out their faith, living as exemplary followers of Jesus Christ, to see them turn to the Word for their help, viewing this world through the eyes of Jesus, and attending and serving their church faithfully, all through the power of the Holy Spirit.

To that end, Women At Home seeks to provide a place for women to come to for love, support, compassion, and understanding. It is for those who have been wounded by the trials and tribulations of the world and have now found sanctuary and safety through faith in Jesus Christ.  It is a place to learn how to walk out your faith, learn how to study the Word, and learn how to trust the Lord in all things.

We, at Women At Home, are women who hunger after the Lord and desire to learn and grow daily so that we are willing vessels available for the Lord's use. The Book of Proverbs tells us the spiritual condition is to know wisdom. This is a working knowledge, not a passive one and we are daily, actively seeking God's wisdom for every area of our lives.

We are a group of women who are not happy to settle for less than what the Lord has for us and not afraid to ask for the things we believe God wants us to have. When the Spirit moves we want to be the first on board, never to be left behind. We believe that the Word is God-breathed and every Scripture is valuable and in the Bible for a reason. We believe that the Bible has the solution to every situation and challenge in life and that through studying it and prayer, God will speak to us and direct our paths.

No matter who you are or where you are, we at Women At Home want to reach you.  Through this ministry we hope to edify, encourage, pray, intercede, stand in the gap, be teachable and hold each other accountable as we learn and grow through our spiritual journey

Statement of Faith

Women at Home accepts the Holy scriptures as the revealed will of God.  We make our standards and teachings based on the inerrancy of the Word, and for the purpose of maintaining general unity, adopts these Statements of Fundamental Truths and Doctrine.  The fundamental teachings of this board are reflected in the following clear statements of faith.

1.  We believe in inspiration of the accepted canon of Scriptures as originally given.  The Scriptures are infallible, inerrant, and the sole and final authority for  faith and conduct (II Timothy 3:16, I Corinthians 2:13).

2.  We believe in the eternal God the Father, the Creator of the universe (Deuteronomy 6:4).

3.  We believe in the creation, test and fall of man as recorded in Genesis, his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain divine righteousness (Romans 3:10, 23 and 5:12, 18).

4.  We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Messiah of Israel, the Savior of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary (Luke 1:26-28, John 1:14-18, Isaiah 7:14, 9:6-7).

5.  We believe Messiah died and became the sacrificed Lamb for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day and personally appeared unto His disciples (Luke 24:1-53, Romans 4:25, I Corinthians 15:Cool.

6.  We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to Heaven, His exaltation, and personal, literal, and bodily coming again in the second time for His people (John 14:2-3, I Thessalonians 4:13-18, II Thessalonians 1:7, Revelation 19:11-16).

7.  We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the Cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins (Ephesians 2:8-9, Hebrews 9:12, Romans 5:11).

8.  We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of the eternal God in order to fulfill the command of the Lord Jesus the Messiah (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:34-38, and 19:1-6, Acts 22:16).

9.  We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23, I Corinthians 12, Romans 12, Ephesians 4).

10.  We believe in the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world and perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as expressing the true Messianic faith (Ephesians 5:18, II Corinthians 6:14, 7:1).

11.  We believe in the reality and personality of the devil and eternal judgment in the lake of fire prepared for the devil, his angels and those who follow him (Matthew 25:41, Revelation 20:1-10).

12. We believe in eternal life for believers (John 3:!6, 5:24) and eternal punishment for the unbelievers (Mark 9:43-48, II Thessalonians 1:9, Revelation 20:10, 15).

13.  We believe in the reality of one new man made up of Jews and Gentiles (Ephesians 2).  There is one universal Body of Messiah, made up of genuine believers, but this one universal Body is also composed of many local fellowships in given localities.  These fellowships are under the sovereign headship of the Lord Jesus the Messiah, exercising autonomous government under Him, administering all its local affairs, and ministry, as well as the propagation of the Gospel (Acts 15:22, Matthew 16:18, 18:15-20).

14.  We believe that government is ordained of God, and powers that be are ordained ministers of God to us for good.  To resist the powers and ordinances is to resist the ordinance of God.  We are subject not only for wrath sake, but for conscience sake, rendering to all their dues, custom to whom custom, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.  We declare our loyalty to our government and its leaders and will assist in every way possible consistent with our faith in the Scriptures as Christian citizens (Romans 13).

WAH Code of Conduct

*We speak the Word in Truth and Love at all times

* We know the difference between a Doctrinal Issue and a Salvation issue and we act accordingly

* We understand that much is lost on the internet.  When we cannot see facial expression, body posture, or hear tone of voice, we always assume that a message was delivered with friendly intent, and we respond in kind.

*No flaming whatsoever will be tolerated on this board.

*When we offer correction or instruction, it is always with the understanding that all have sinned and fallen short.  There is never an attitude of superiority.

*We all come from the same place, the world.  We never judge what a activities a believer may have engaged in before the moment of their salvation because we understand that our wordly lives were just as black.

*We understand struggle, questions, pain and heartbreak.  These are always met with love, but they may also be met with gentle reproof and kind instruction.

*We encourage others to take initiative, to create relationships here, to call, to  write and to meet.  “On-line” relationships can be as deep and important as “real life” relationships and there is no reason the two worlds have to be separated.

*Above all we are to act in manner that is worthy of our calling as Christ’s Royal Priesthood, remembering always the two most important commandments; love your Lord with all your heart, all your soul and all your strength, and loving your neighbor as you love yourself.

*The administrators and moderators of Women at Home reserve the right to remove posts and/ or topics that we feel do not meet these standards.  Removal will always be accompanied by written explanation.
